What are some tips for setting up my SUV and Truck for a trade in?

The SUV (2007 Buick Rendezvous) has some deep scratches on the back, some stains on the seats, and some on the middle console between the front seats, which is leather. That's about all.

The Truck is really nice and clean.

I'm going to wash and wax them today or tomorrow, any tips for the scratches? I tried Oxi-Clean on the seats, it worked but left little circles of stains or something around it.

I also need to wash the engine, how could I do that? I mean there's wires and stuff.
 
Dont bother with the engine just get them as clean as you can.they are only going to give you what the they are worth.They will detail them the way they want them anyway.
