what are some ways i could get more horsepower out of my truck?

I have a 2004 dodge ram 3.7L v6. Ya i know it is not very big but does anyone have any tips that could get more HP out of it? I mean i know that headers and performance chips and stuff will get more. But i was wondering if there was anything that i could do that does not cost to much money. And i just recently got a flowmaster exhaust for it. But if anyone has any ideas for me that would be great.

Bang for the buck wise changing rear gears to a lower set up. lets say your truck has 3:30 to 1 rear ratio and you change it to 3:75-1 ratio the truck will accelerate much more strong, though dropping your top speed a bit. shorter tires create a similar affect 17 inch to 15 inch and low profile. your speedo wont read right and it may affect the ecm adversly. there are few things you can do that dont cost to get real gains.
