i need this car for at LEAST another 3 and a half years. i just had the intake manifold gaskets replaced and a cylinder head (was not cracked due to overheating! pushrod hole was cross threaded) car was never overheated or anything, and regular oil changes every 5000km. The car has 163,xxx kilometers on it. Should i switch to the regular green coolant instead of dexcool? or anything else?? what about using threadlocker on the intake manifold gasket bolts? any help is appreciated (p.s. installed a new serpentine belt and thermostat while the engine was off the mounts)
