What are the best headphones I can buy (audiophile or not)?

I keep reading about the Dr. Dre headphones, Bose, and Sennheisers. I'm not narrowing it down to those 3, they're just the ones I've seen recommended a lot.
what brand and/or model should I get is what I should have included, as well.
