what are the best roadsters out there?

I don't know why anyone would buy any Mercedes or BMW roaster over a Porsche.
 
It all depends on what you define as a roadster. SLK's are really nice. You also may want to look at Vipers maybe? Or perhaps a corvette or a mustang cobra? Maybe those aren't real roadsters. Just take a look around for yourself what is out there and make the decision on your own. When yo utruly find what you like, you'll know it. Good luck
