What are the best romantic vacation spots in the US or Mexico?

My hubby and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, glory be to GOD, and we want to take a vacation in a really romantic place with lots of recreational activities. We prefer to be around a beach and we are going in September. Any suggestions?
 
Key West is very romantic
September would be a good month to go

Niagara falls, not a beach but is romantic and something to see
September would be a good month

Hiltlon Head, SC would be a good spot

Also look for a cruise
