I noticed that there are no poor jews, they all have a very good education and eventually become lawyers, politicians or financials

You'll never pay retail again...

There is NO "advantage" and you would not be accepted for conversion based on that reason.

If anything, you would be at a DISADVANTAGE because while non-Jews have to only obey the 10 Noahide Commandments, Jews have 613 commandments to obey and we get judged a lot more harshly than non-Jews (supposedly).

Furthermore, when you become Jewish, you become part of a "people", a tribe if you will. This means you will be part of the collective and have to look out for other Jews to help keep them from straying as they will do for you.

It's not easy to be a Jew...

Look (for yourself) before you leap for one man's poison is another one's nectar.

Hello,

The fact that you will have to be very serious, work hard at it and learn something in order to become Jewish. The Jews do not evangelize and the rabbi will initially discourage you at first asking why the hell you would want to change horses in mid stream. If you persist you'll get lots of reading material to digest. I can safely say that it is not a few simple words like praise Jesus, I accept you as my savior or there is one God Allah and Mohamed is His prophet that will change you into a Jewish person short and sweet.

Cheers,

Like all spiritualities, Judaism will give you spiritual forfillment, for it is an expression of one of your dimensions. It will alsop help you find inner peace (although a different path than other religions/schools of thought)

Judaism is one of those religions (esp the orthadox variency) that will give you a community which will basically become one of the soceities in which you live within. You might feel more complete =]

in short
1) inner peace
2) personal forfillment
3) A sense of purpose
4) a community and society which in turn provides
5) a new cultural identity =]
