what would be the probability of getting all 5 questions correct? merely by gyuessing?

Depends on how many choices you have for each question.
If n = the number of choices for each question.
and x = the number of questions.

odds of getting them all correct = (1 / n)^x

If all 5 questions are true/false

1/2^5 = 1/32 = 0.03125

If all 5 questions have 4 choices

1 / 4^5 = 1 / 1024 = 0.0009765625

You didn't specify how many answers there are per question. If you have a multiple choice exam with a and b the answer is vastly different from if there are 5 possible answers. To vaguely answer your question, the probability where x = the possible number of answers to each question =

(1/x)^5. If for instance this quiz had a, b, c and d answers, this would be

(1/4)^5 or .00097. Give that is one of your choices, I assume the quiz had 4 choices for each answer and you simply forgot to mention that in the problem.

I don't know because I'm total shite at math, but the probability's higher/different if you guess the same answer (eg. C) on every one.
