Clearly Amir's relationship with Baba and Hassan. Actually I haven't read the book in about a year and a half so I'm a little sketchy on the details. I guess Amir can never overcome what happened with Hassan, he does go across Taliban Afganistan and save Hassan's child as well as bring him up, but he can never redo the past. Therefore he will always feel that guilt.
