What are the minimum requirements for good nutrition?

Whether following a diet to lose weight or simply wanting to eat healthy, there must be certain minimum nutritional requirements for anyone to get each day. I know that everyone needs about 25-30 grams of protein, and then there's a certain number of grams of fiber which I don't know; then there's the vitamins which probably come in a good multivitamin in case they get shorted from the regular meals. Then how much fat (grams?) and how many grams of carbs is everyone supposed to get? And after protein, carbs, fiber, fat, vitamins and minerals are taken care of, have I missed anything?

Please don't offer me diet plans, or "eat fruit" or "no meat." I'm not asking that. I'm asking what are the essentials that any good healthy eating plan must have - the bones of eating, before you put on the "flesh and skin" of what you actually eat.
