Almost every time I get my period the cramps are debilitating. At their worst point I'm taking Vicodin just to get them to a bearable point. The pain isn't just in my abdomen but also in my back. I've tried everything in the book. Heat, painkillers, even sit ups and belly dancing. I've also vomited. On some occasions I've vomited every 15 to 30 minutes for 4 to 6 hours. During a little girl talk conversation with my friend, the topic of endometriosis came up. My friend has had endo for the last 20 years and my symptoms are quite similar to hers. I plan on bringing up endo at my next OBGYN appointment but that's not until January. Until then, what can I do about my cramps and what does one look for to see if one has endo.
