What are these tiny itchy bumps on my fingers and hands?

I have tiny little bumps on my fingers and palms of my hands. They really only started getting itchy last night but you could not see them, this morning they are very visible. They are tiny skin coloured bumps under the skin. What are the caused from?
And also are they contagious? Like if i rubbed my face could they spread to my face?
