Lying in a heap unable to move, after just having a bath approximately the same temperature as the core of the sun, to try to limit DOMS and relax my back muscles!
feeling weak as a kitten, literally lying here feeling the hard earned muscle ebbing away more and more with every second because I haven't been doing any training, eating and sleeping crap for a few weeks, its all in my head I imagine but im sure im not the first one on here who has gotten to that stage were they just want to go to an all night gym and push a barbell up and down for 16 hours.
strongly suspecting my father misheard me on the phone and is crapping his pants right now, thinking i said dollars instead of kroner when i told him the american college's tuition fee (each semester is actually about what he makes per month, and the next one doesn't start until january, so it's pretty much a non-issue, anyway, particularly if i end up having to get a study visa which would enable me to work part-time and thus help cover the costs).
about to browse my new norwegian textbook, wondering what the hell it says even while i attempt to figure out pronunciation, and realizing i have no fricking idea of when the "sk" is pronounced 'sk', and when it's more like 'sh'
I had a similar problem with Swedish. I could never figure out when k was pronouced as 'k' or 'sh'. Not that I really tried that hard to find out though!
The place we stayed was pronouced Shista (spelt Kista) and other places like Norrkِping (pronouced Norrshoping) and Linkِping (Linshoping) had the 'sh' but Ockelbo (nice cheese by the way) was a K sound.
