What are you doing right now?

I know, I should hang my head in shame and skulk off to a corner. Am I now, however, convinced by Google Chrome - my laptop hasn't frozen up since I started playing with Chrome. In my defense, I only used IE because I never got round to trying anything else and probably won't be using it ever again!

Indeed it is!

I hate editing papers! Good luck with your efforts!

atta girl. was almost afraid i'd have to withhold my rubber duckiness from you. also try firefox. i use chrome, but it's a bit minimalistic, so perhaps firefox might be more appealing. opera's also good, but if memory serves it used to be absolute crap at dealing with flash content (the reason i migrated to firefox before chrome launched), but i don't know if that's been solved since.

Firefox for the win. Though, to be honest, part of the reason I'm using Firefox is because of the cute videos they upload of red pandas.

I'm trying Chrome because it was pre-installed on this laptop which is a fairly basic model and I don't really want to download lots of different browsers to it. I may give Firefox a go though, if Chrome wasn't on here, it would have been my first choice.

So far, having been using it for only a couple of hours, I've not had any freeze ups - I.E. would have had numerous by now - and things seem to be loading much faster!

Sipping herbal tea while looking at articles related to Aikido and psychology, specifically techniques (Aikido) and being assertive, not aggressive (psychology).

Checking out Statham's 2 new movies.. He once again plays the same character.. The titles of the movie and the rest of the casting changes but his character is the same:P .. Anyway, the movies are still great if you want to see good asskicking!! ‪BLITZ Trailer: On Blu-ray/DVD Combo & Digital Download August 23rd 2011: MAPLE PICTURES‬‏ - YouTube
‪Killer Elite (2011) Movie Theatrical Trailer HD - Robert De Niro Clive Owen Jason Statham‬‏ - YouTube
In the second movie great actors like Clive Owen and De Niro are co staring and most importantly Yvonne Strahovski

Is the second a remake of the Peckinpah film 'The Killer Elite'? I'll probably still watch it as can't get enough of guys jumping through windows and not hurting themselves

Transferring my bookmarks over to Chrome and still being gobsmacked at how quickly pages are loading now!

Everything is faster than IE ... Why were you using IE? ... *scrubs Frodo clean* ... One day when you're really smart you'll stop using Windows

Hangs head in shame..

I don't know why I was using IE. It was habit and I'm a creature of habit! I started out using Netscape years ago, then got a pc with IE on it and just never got round to changing browsers.

As for changing from Windows...

One step at a time! I need to adjust to the shock and change of habit of moving to Chrome first!

Be glad Frodo. A study shows (you know this one Wolfie) that users of Chrome have a higher IQ compared to those using Internet Explorer. Not sure how solid it is but it's great for kicks

What you mean the shock of realising that your computer doesn't actually suck. It's the crap software Microsoft made and has force fed you with the help of their OEM minions for years? ... opps sorry got a bit carried away there
