What are your favorites...?

What are your favorite and least favorite Final Fantasy's and why are they?

My favorites: 2,3,7,9
My least favorites: 8, X2, XII

What makes a FF likable to me is the characters and the story and non-story things you can do (like the golden saucer in 7 I loved that! I killed so much time on that snowboarding thing >_>) I was happy with most the games but I really didn't click with the story or characters or anything of 8. X2, well it was in my opinion a cheap way to apologize to the people that were unhappy with X's ending. XII wasn't so bad but I barely remember it.
I loved the twins from 2 and Cecil (if you ever play secret of evermore you can find Cecil in it fyi XD) 3 and 7 were by far my favorites I loved the characters and just everything about them (though Cloud was a bit broody for my liking) and I'm not sure why I liked 9 I just did :P

FFX-2. Amazing graphics, fun gameplay and awful story.Final fantasy VII was possibly the best game ever made. Final fantasy X was shockingly fun and I actually thought that IX was the most creative and fantasy-like FF game, though many thought it was too fantasy-like.

My least favourite game is probably the I one and the VIII one.For I one I didn't like RPGs and VIII just seemed like a sci-fi horror game to me and I was surprised that blood didn't spurt out of the dead enemies and that chainsaw-wielding zombies didn't burst out from every corner. I hated it.
