I am tempted to amend my question because I don't want any Fruits Basket or Pokemon to show, but I am not omitting any genres because I like a little of everything. So my list is:
Sailor Moon- ok, I know but this was the first anime that hooked me
Death Note- I had never come across an anime like this
Bleach- Byakuya's hot, Kenpachi rocks, the art
Naruto- Nooooo Sasuke!!!!!! and I have never stuck to a manga with chapters in the 500s
Inuyasha- first anime that I was able to see weekly, didn't have a japanation channel then
Viewfinder 1st vol- first amazing yaoi, not your atypical SM or "does he love me" theme
The Breaker (Both)- hope Shi-Woon makes it and the art is amazing
MARS- OMG this is soooo cute! first love story that I can read past chapter 3.
City of Darkness- finally color!!
Vampire Knight- Zero all the way! but wanted Shizuka to "play" with Zero longer. This manga is awesome!
I know I said ten, but I am going to sneak in Wolf Guy, don't like the teacher getting hurt part (too brutal), but the art is awesome. (mature)
