I live on rural dirt/gravel roads that are well kept. I want to use it to commute everyday rain or shine. It would get muddy when it rain. So I want it for dirt roads and pavement since im gonna use it for commuting and long distance riding. The dirt/gravel roads dont turn into thick mud when it rains. I also want to carry alot of panniers for touring. Would it be better to put tires on a touring bike that does about even in mud and pavement? Should I get a cyclocross or touring bike?
My closest bike store has the brands redline and cannondale.
