I'm looking for some books to read which some some nice romantic background plot. Let me explain in detail what I mean.
I have read Robert Heinlein's The Cat Who Walks through Walls or Barb & J.C. Hendee's Noble Dead novels like Dhampir. They have in common a nice romantic relationship between the leading male-female heroes on the background of some main story line. I like the saucy tweak to it where the woman is kind of sassy or arrogant and how they don't like or hate each other in the beginning but then falling in love later. You know what I mean - hopefully.
Anyways I'm looking for any kind of books with similar twist, I don't care if the set is sci-fi, fantasy, adventure or contemporary. Please, what I'm not looking for are those cheesy red-diary type romance books for girls where the main story line is just a suspension romance. It is not appealing to me reading a story where female character spends one page describing the male muscles
The story should be readable by a male.
Also I would not care about any old literature like Shakespeare and probably anything written before 1950s. Contemporary authors are most welcome.
I hope literature experts here understand that it's quite hard to find such books online. On most servers you can search by genre and that's not specific enough.
