Ok, so I bought this 2004 Audi last May and have had nothing but problems. Latly it has been running really rough or not running at all. I was stopped at a red light when all of then sudden it started idelling really low and then shook a little and stalled. While sitting at the Iongest light in the world I turned the car off and then back on, and it stalled again! I have no idea what is going on.Later, on my spectacular drive home hitting every red light and waiting @ the longest intersections with my car dying, it started to make this loud humming noise on the right side (if you are sitting in the car) of the hood. I pretty much was just waiting for my car to blow up....
Today I had taken it for a tune up.... a $500 tune up (is this a normal cost ??) The man informed me that my Turbo was going and would need to be repaired. He said that the humming noise is my turbo failing.
Can anyone give me advice with these issues?? I dont have alot of knowledge when it comes to vehicles and my husband is deployed to Iraq (he always seems to miss out on these fun times) so I really cant get his opion that often.
