What can I do now to help me in the future with owning a pet shop?

Ok I am 13 years old and in about 6 or 7 years I plan to be working with pets: Dogs, cats, fish, and other pets! I want to evenually open my own pet shop. Is there anything I can do now,before I am in high school, that would help me with my shop! Please help me more on the animal side other then the bussiness owning side! Like what can I do now to help me be better with pets in the future.
 
1. Volunteer for the zoo
2. Volunteer for a local animal shelter
3. Get yourself pets
4. Study and read books.

When you're older:
5. Get a degree in Zoology.

You are a younger me. I'm currently getting my zoology degree at a certain college I can't name because I'm online. Get involved with animals. Touch them, feed them, learn everything you can. I watch animal planet almost everyday to get my fix. Good luck and I hope you can achieve your dreams.
 
start with some thing small, like a plant, then a fish, mouse/hamster,rat,bunny,cat,dog,and if you can a horse.its to hard and would take me to long to list every thing i want to tell u so i wont even try

Try owning as many pets as you can take care of. This will help in knowing how to take care of the pets in the store. Another thing you can do is work in a pet store. That is one of the best things you can do but it might be something for a year or two in the future.
