A group from my work place is cooking dinner and dessert for a local Ronald McDonald House "Home for Dinner" program. There can be as many as 40 + people staying there at any one time. I am in charge of the meal plan but am at a lost of what to do. They says they like home cooked meals but things like spaghetti and Chili get done a lot. As for desserts they have volunteers who make cookies and cups cakes daily, so again looking for something homey buy not too out there. We are on a budget so I am trying to make it as cost effective as I can. Any ideas for meals or dessert would be greatly appreciated.
