I think men are afraid of feeling useless but even if we earn our own money it's nice to have them around to open pickle jars and move furniture around when necessary. Some are even pleasant to look at. I'm really impressed by men who stand up to injustices like the deliberate slaughter of children in illegal wars. Maybe if the focused their energies there, women would take them seriously again.
