What career sounds like a good fit for me? Information about my interest inside...?

Okay, I really like to travel A LOT.
I want to learn of other culture and religions. (I don't want to sit back and observe them, I want to interact with the different ways of life, and experience it hands on.)
I want to work with people, be social.
I want lots of adventure.
I am kind of shy, and not good at speaking in front of large crowds, (I want to conquer that fear though)
I want to have a secure job, and a job that pays well with good benefits.
I like to learn about the history of other cultures as well.

Basically, I want lots and lots of traveling and adventure. I don't want a slow pace job, I like the fast life. (Like in NYC.)

Thats all that I can think of right now but if you would like to know something more specific then just let me know! :)

Thanks for your opinion!

Anthropologist. Not all of those employed in that field are the type that sit back and observe. Some jobs call for them to interact directly.

You could also find work as a world photographer or work on a news team. If you don't wish to be in front of the camera, there are many opportunities behind the scenes that would still put you on location overseas.

Chances are these career paths will not make you rich, but you will be very comfortable.

Another option is the Peace Corps, though the pay is not always the greatest since it is greatly a volunteer-based program. However, there are many benefits included in order to compensate (such as college student loan reimbursements).
