The car is an automatic. It keeps revving up, especially in park. It will rev up to 4,000 rpm without touching the gas pedal. When driving 25 mph, I actually have to put my foot on the brake to keep from going too fast because it just goes on it's own. Also, when I was stopped at a stop light my foot was on the brake real good. The car revved up and learched forward, almost hitting a pedestrian walking across the cross walk. This has happened several times.
We were told it could be the vacuum hose. If that is it, where can I find how to replace it ourselves?
Any ideas anyone?
