what could i motor swap into my 1990 mazda miata?

i've been looking at different motor to put into my miata and i just wanted to get some different options besides just the 1.8l and a v8

i have a buddy that runs a miata stock motor and installed a small turbo and alcohol injuction and runs 11's with bad tuning

13b or a rotary engine would be good but can be expensive i would suggest dropping in a turbo tuning it the right way and you will win many races

have you checked into any miata forums? I don't really know what all they swap into the miata's besides the V8's but the forums are great for that stuff. Don't forget there's like 2-3 different BP's they designed.

What about the 1.8L Turbo from the Mazda Speed Mx-5? sounds a very good option to me, you can use a car performance simulator to virtually install any engine and see how the car would perform.
