I have a Heritage Fair project due, and after realizing the date, it has to be in by two days. The Easter break threw me off track. Anyways, I'm really excited to get it started, but I've always found trouble in coming up with a topic. It has to be on something Canadian, such as history. So, I know my weaknesses, first of all. I'm not good with geography at all, war history isn't the most interesting for me, and I don't like politics one bit. I wanted to do something original and really creative; I'm honestly drawing a blank on this project. My general interests are music, animals, social studies (in the sense of studying human behaviour), and I could get into cultures. As you could probably notice, I have a lot more going for me during a science project. Any ideas? I really want to bring up my 90 percentage up and get my honours pin with distinction (I'm in grade 9, by the way).
If you could throw any topics around, it'd be great. I'm really into projects and school work. The only thing I don't want the project to be about, is someone or something Canadian that did nothing for Canada as a nation, you know? I want something that contributes to what Canada is or contributed to make Canada what it is today. I don't want to do it on a show or modern artist (I haven't seen much change due to one artist or celebrity, forgive my ignorance), because mostly everything in that category is just from Canada. I want something national, that helped or helps Canada as a whole.
Thank you so much!
Also, I'm sorry if you see this question a few times, but I'm going to throw it around in different categories in an attempt to get a bit more feedback from different views.
