What do I do about guys spreading rumors about me?

I live in a small town, so news travels quickly. Lately I've had guys keep stopping me and coming on real strong, when I finally said something to one of them they said "well you did it with..." and named a bunch of guys in my city. I haven't done anything with any of them. Why are they being so cruel, now I have a bad reputation and my brother is beating me for it. What do i do??
 
Just explain to your brother that a stupid guy started a rumor about you cause is it not true, if your brother is actually beating you , you should move with another relative, that is ignorant of him to believe other people over his own sister
 
Jessica, what I would do is tell your parents about your brother, or whoever is your legal guardian. Then, tell the school about these rumors, they'll find who has been saying all of this, and justice will be served, if it is not, then tell the police.
 
its your word against his, therre is something very wrong if your word aint good enough anymore
