what do i do if people are spreading nasty mean rumors about me?

ok,im in the 6th grade its the last year at my school BUT... people are spreading nasty hurtfull rumors about me and i have came home crying 2times and i cant help it when people are moking me i have not spread 1 rumor about anybody and i dont hate anybody but i still get picked on PLEASE JUST TELL ME IM NOT THE ONLY 1 AND PLEASE GIMME ADVICE...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the reason for rumors is that kids especially in your age group have absolutely nothing better to do..........they are also insecure with thereself...hunny your not the first to get picked on and you wont be the last most stupid people would tell a young person like yourself to get even DONT because then your stooping to there level and you wasnt to show more class than that....figure out what the rumors are abpout and prove them wrong you will be a better person in the end and you wont get in any trouble if it still continues dont be afraid to tell a teacher or principal
