what do i need to know if iam going to take a cruise?

i got this free cruise and this is my first time take in one can you tell me what to take and not to take what do i need to know about it what to spend on what not to buy thing that for your own experience you thing is good or bad to do thanks
 
Pack only what you need, depending on where you are going could be a swimsuit, shorts, underwear, personal care products, etc. Make sure to take a jacket and flip flops for taking a shower. I would buy locks to be on the safe side so you can lock up your suitcase when you are not in your stateroom. If you get a card (we call it a ship and sail card) for i.d and spending purposes, put CASH on it instead of linking it to your debit or credit card to avoid overspending. Make sure to have some cash on hand bc it is super expensive to use your card over seas. Have fun...cruises are great and the food is awesome. Oh yea, you might want to invest in some motion sickness medicine too if it is your first time.
