...traditional marriage? They make it sound like those who want gay marriage are trying to get heterosexual marriage outlawed. I don't see gay people holding protests outside of heterosexual weddings demanding that the weddings be stopped. All gay marriage would do is give people another choice of union. If giving people other choices besides traditional marriage is destroying traditional marriage then you would have to do more than simply blame the gays. You'd have to blame everyone who never married in their entires lives for the destruction of traditional marriage. And of course everyone who's had a divorce. Why aren't the people who are worried about preserving traditional marriage holding protests in front of divorce courts? I think it's because the gays are an easier target. People like to blame them for the moral problems of this country.
 
the religious fundies think as marriage as a religical bond between two people they fear since the bible talks against same sex people getting married that it will be going against the bible. Most gay people want to get married for rights though not the religious bond. To get married there is usually religion involved unless its done at the justice of peace in a courthouse.
 
They mean what they say.

If traditional marriage is defined as the union of a man and a woman [who hopefully unlike Goober down South are not close relatives] then gay marriage pretty much puts this definition, this tradition in its coffin.

But, that is GOOD.

Traditional marriage is a crock of shit anyway and a joke and a form of slavery.

I say, if the gay community wants the same opportunities for ruined relationships, child support, spousal abuse, and ruined lives that straights have [and I view straight unions with a greater repugnance than I'd view a cesspool], then give gays the same rights to ruined lives and ruined relationships that straights have now. That way, life'd be more fair.

Sooner or later this idiocy, founded on religious drivel, known as MARRIAGE will be abolished forever.

People will join, live with, whomever they desire in any number like three men and two women in a group union and nobody but NOBODY will give a poop who sleeps with whom or why as long as consentual.

FREE LOVE is the only REAL LOVE.

All else is blarney, fake, ersatz, a shoddy imitation.

Love must be UNCONDITIONAL or it isn't love at all.

And when the condition for my love with some man or woman is I have to have some idiotic religious ceremony or secular equivalent or the relationship is "over" then I say "Good riddance. I'll have no parasites feeding off me, thank you."
