My yukon GMC stalled on the freeway! i thought it was the fuel filter! changed it, and after a few mins of it sputering like it was going to blow up! it started running great! i drove it about three miles! then it stalled again..i am now guessing that it is the fuel pump! what do u think it is?
 
Clean throttle Body!!!! you may need to replace the Throttle position sensor or Idle air ( manually clean it out. 80% of your problems will begin in the Throttle Body!!

FYI............GMC will not sell you a Idle Air. They make you buy the Whole $850 TB assembly. Dont attempt to buy from Online auto parts house! They will not fit!!!!
 
fuel pump, could also be water in the gas, but if you routinely use cheap gas, (im not saying you do, im guessing here) often times water is in it, and if you keep the fuel tank closer to empty than full the fuel pump is in the gas tank, and it is designed to be kept cool by fuel. many pumps are replaced every week at dealers, some of that crap on ebay has no internal parts, your best bet is a fuel pump from the dealer, it is in the gas tank, I keep my vehicles tanks full and fill up when its near half, and I use chevron super unleaded as much as I can
