this year? My predictions:
UFC 120 (TV) - 3.0 million (I might be overestimating a bit here, but I think it has a strong card, a bit more interest than most people think, and the upcoming UFC 121 might help a bit in the ratings department. For a little reference, UFC 105 did 2.9 million around this time last year, headlined by Randy Couture and Brandon Vera. I this show will pass that just slightly.)
UFC 121 (PPV) - 1,300,000 (After the A+ show that was UFC 116, I think mostly everyone who bought that show will tune back in for this one, and more people will buy it due to hearing good things. It's Lesnar, so over 1 million is guaranteed, and some are predicting it might beat UFC 100, though I doubt that. I also think the quality of UFC 120 will have a significant effect on the buyrate, so it's hard to say.
UFC 122 (TV) - 2.1 million viewers (If UFC 120 and 121 deliver, this number could go up a little, but it's a weak card with a weak main event. Okami headlined one of the worst performing PPV's since 2005, and the Marquardt-headlined Fight Night 22 did terrible ratings. I just don't feel there's enough interest for this show.)
UFC 123 (PPV) - 600,000 (I think Rampage will appeal to enough people to get tis slightly up from Machida/Shogun 2, but not by much, as I bet a lot of people were disappointed with the UFC 114 main event. Hughes vs. Penn, I think, should attract people too, I was predicting 500,000 before that match was announced.)
TUF 12 Finale (TV) - 2.4 million viewers (I think it will do a little better than last season because the show is better and the coaches are a tad more interesting, but it won't do TUF 10 level numbers due to lack of Kimbo - for reference, that show did 3.7 million with a 5.2 million peak during Kimbo/Alexander.)
UFC 124 (PPV) - 700,000 buys (I think some of it will depend on what the undercard offers, but if UFC 111 with St-Pierre and Hardy could do 850,000 on WrestleMania weekend, I think this one should be able to get 700,000 easily after the full season of TUF, especially if the ratings continue to go up this season as they have been so far.)
