someone else? Let's say for instance, I interview for a job as part-time admin with an engineering firm. And, let's say the human resources person or office manager hires me and decides to then have me be introduced to the owner(s). Do I just say hello Sir and/or Ms. so and so? Or, do I say that PLUS, "Thank you for having me here. I look forward to starting with you on Monday"?? I mean, if they weren't the ones who hired me, would that be awkward for me to say to them? (Meaning, the second part of thank you for having me here".

well they are the owners, so just say hello, im looking forward to working for you company, wonderful to meet you.
as long as your nice, they should be happy.
