What do you think? laptop brands? which one is better?

Currently I have -dell xps- its been with me for like a year now. i really wanna change it but im not sure yet some people told me that macbook isnt good? and its good if im in graphic or something cuz its good with editing pics and stuff. and plus im thinking about sony ? so any idea? on which is better..
p.s tell me if i should keep my dell?
