There's a girl who somehow mirculously got on the cheerleading squad (not that many girls tried out) even though she's really bad and really slows us down, and she keeps pushing me from the middle even though I'm supposed to be in the center because I'm the mascot. But that's beside the point. I ask her things like "why can't you just stay in your spot?" and she actually says "idk, maybe it's because I should be in the middle." She also texts and says what she's writing outloud and one of the cheerleaders once said "what are you part of the phone too?" and she said "lol celine that's funny." I find it really annoying when people use them in real life it's really weird and kinda dorky. What do you think?

Sometimes I say lol out loud, only if it fits though, I don't say it all the time. And I don't say the other stuff out loud.

I hate it when people say lol out loud. I've never heard anyone say idk before. One of my cousin's friends does it and that's one of the reason why I avoid her. She does it all the time. I only do it in texts because you can only type so much and I tend to run out of space.

I think that teenagers now are too involved with tech speak and simply need to learn proper English. I hope she outgrows that before she graduates high school. I would never hire someone who could not speak proper English. I also thinks that her pretentious nature of wanting to be in the middle annoys you as well so you vent more about other things too. It is natural that when you dislike someone to nit-pick them, but overall T think you have a valid gripe on both accounts.Hope this helps.

I kindof kind it annoying because it was originally just to show that you're laughing or confused from a phone or computer. I use "lol" and "idk" in my txts and stuff, but never out loud. It's just irritating
