I can't explain the feeling of attachment or love. My husband and I have two children of our own. We have a big family with lots of other little kids in the family, cousins and their kids. I feel very close to my one cousins son who is 4 now and I really don't know why. We live far from our family and hardly see any of them. I don't see this kid any more often then the others but I still feel very attached to him. The only other time I ever had felt this sort of connection to a person was a elderly women whom I was taking care of when I worked in a group home. She suffered from mental retardation. Without sounding strange, can someone explain why it is you feel spiritually attached to some more than others? Without any actual physical stimuli or events having caused that bond?
