What does it mean to have a cross over your third eye?

I was once told I had a cross over my third eye, not at church [as I don't practice any religion, yet like to think I'm agnostic, the religion i prominently acknowledge though don't necessarily believe/have faith in is Christianity though] - but by an elderly neighbor. She and my mother are both Christian, though neither heavy nor practicing, I did attend church when I was younger though.

From a religious point-of-view what does this cross over my third eye mean? Is it a good or bad sign? Just curious.
