If a guy friend tells you what he plans on doing in the future....a few years down the line....and where he wants to live, without you asking him, how would you take it?
it sounds like it is part of a normal conversation and u r making too much of it. Why dont you think of your plans for the future and then talk about it with him. That is what friends do...
