...in the middle of 2 rocks nd a rake? my boyfriends stepmom has a little shrine in her kitchen and i jus wanted to know wat it meant.
she has a budda in some sand on a lil black tray wit two little rocks on each side of the budda and a rake that she uses to rake the sand each day
i was jus wondering wat excalty meant or if anyone knew of a website that could give me some info

all i know is people have the statues for good luck, theres like 3 different color ones and each represents something which i cant remember but i think? the green one is for money. my boyfriend haves a small red one which i should ask him what that one means. you can also check online about the meaning of buddha, and you can get info good luck!

You are supposed to rake the sand and leave the pattern the rake leaves.
It is supposed to let you empty your mind of worries by just concentrating on raking the sand nicely.

Kind of like having a cup of tea.

Zen Gardens - I have a few, myself.

it teaches one patience, clarity of mind and body, gentleness and understanding of how all things are connected.

this coming Spring, I will be creating a new Garden. It will be rather large in my back yard. so excited about it....

It's a meditation garden. It's not a shrine. It's a very soothing thing to have and use.

it means you deny the trinity so cut that out AND CHOOSE JESUS TODAY...
