What does it mean when you say Jesus Christ is Your Lord? Is He?

He is my Master, Father, King...when you call someone Lord you show them the utmost respect for someone of a higher authority. To say that Jesus is Lord means that He has the say in everything you say and do, because He is the ruler of it all.

It is meaningless in view of the fact that we forsake God and choose to follow politicians and their goons with guns squads. Respectfully, the truth.

What this means is that Jesus Christ is one with God, our Lord. So by the views of the Triune God means that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one which means that Jesus Christ is Lord because He is the Son of God. This be best explained on the website I listed below.

I have pledged my allegiance to Him as my Lord
but I must confess- I am not allways obedient

my set-backs keep me humble and dependent
I try not to let them paralyze me with guilt

fortunately, Jesus is a gracious and forgiving Lord
who wouldn't want to serve a master more concerned for their own good than they are?

I am blessed in many, many ways!

Jesus Christ is my Lord.
To me, this means that Jesus has authority over all other forms of authority on earth.
The only one above Jesus is God the Heavenly Father. Everyone else (Humans, animals, demons, satan) are below Jesus. God has placed them at his feet.
