What does itmean when my blackberry bold has a white screen and it keep going...

...on and off? I just got my blackberry yesterday and it has bee working fine I haven't op it and it hasn't gotten wet and then I put it on the charger and when I when back it kept going on to a white screen then shutting off over and over again
Please help
