I thought it was against the laws of God to kill people.
One who blasphemes the name of the LORD shall be put to death; the whole congregation shall stone the blasphemer. Aliens as well as citizens, when they blaspheme the Name, shall be put to death. (NRSV)

Leviticus 24:16

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife—with the wife of his neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death. (NIV)

Leviticus 20:10

What about men who practice sorcery?
You shall not allow a woman to live who practices sorcery. (AMP)

Exodus 22:18

Anyone who dishonors father or mother must be put to death. Such a person is guilty of a capital offense. (NLT)

Leviticus 20:9

You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to the LORD. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death. (NLT)

Exodus 35:2

All of the verses quoted are Old Testament teachings which Jesus dropped in His gospel teachings, thus forbidding His followers from accepting them.

Judaism, not Christianity, lives by the law. Yet they are not able to fulfill it, since they cannot offer blood sacrifices in the temple in Jerusalem. Interesting the very generation of Jew that saw Jesus was the last generation able to offer blood sacrifices in the temple. They did not know it, but the perfect and final sacrifice was made in Jesus in their day.

Anyway, the verses you quote are the law and its penalties. Christians are not followers of the law (whosover lives by the law must do it), but are followers of Jesus the Messiah. He was righteous and so did not do away with the law, but instead paid its penalties in full for us. Since the requirements of the law are therefore satisfied for those who accept Jesus, the law can no longer have a claim upon those that are in Christ (who shall accuse? It is Christ who died. Who shall condemn? It is God that justifies). This is not license to sin, but a free gift of grace unto salvation.

Still, its interesting that the penalties you listed will ultimately be paid by those who reject Christ, and therefore must be judged by the law and pay its penalties for themselves -

Lev 24:16 - blasphemy of the name of the Lord is rejection of the name of Jesus, all who reject this name will have their part in the second death
Lev 20:10 - the sexually immoral (including spiritual adulterers who are those who leave the Lord for another) will have their part in the lake of fire (Rev 21:8)
Exo 22:18 - all sorcerors will have their part in the lake of fire (Rev 21:8)
Lev 20:9 - anyone who dishonors the heavenly father will be put to death (Rev 21:8)
Exo 35:2 - all followers of Christ will rest the seventh day (7th 1000 yr period called "Millenium" following tribulation)
