What does Seeding and Peers mean in BitTorrent?

Seeders are d people hu already hav cmpletd d downloading.. Nd keepin d torent active..(meaning nw dey r uploadin d downloaded data fo other people hu r stil downloadin..) Dats y fo a fast download there shud b maximum seeders.. Nd peers are ppl hu r stil downloadin d same file.. So der shud b minimum peers during downlodin to get max. Speed..
