What does the Verizon Insurance Policy cover?

my cell phone is the oldest chocolate by LG. i have been constantly dropping it (by accident) and i have insurance on it. what does the verizon insurance cover? i know it says it covers physical damage, and my cell phone it very very scratched and has a piece missing from the side. do you think i can get a new phone?
 
It covers heavy physical damage, water damage, lost or stolen, etc...basically anything your warranty doesn't cover.

There is a $50 deductible to claim insurance. Just call them and tell them you broke something on the phone.
