What does this symbol mean on a Sony Ericsson Phone?

It is a little green phone, with a 1 next to it, at the top of the home screen near the symbol for network coverage, and for the phone being on silent.
my phone is a w610i, and the symbol appeared after I changed phone companies.
what do u mean walkman?

also, how do i get rid of it?
