My parents recently got a mac and are leaving me with the old Dell Pc with Windows XP.
It runs pretty slowly and has a lot of junk we dont need on it, so I think i might try reformatting the C drive.
Is there a difference between doing this from command prompt or from the actual icon (right click on Local Disk, click "format..."
I want a way to completely erase everything, but leave the essential programs on. I want to make the computer like it was brand new. Is there a better way?
