I want to prevent text messages (both SMS and MMS) from being sent or received from one of the Android phones on my Verizon family plan. Looking at the description for what takes place if I do block all messaging Verizon says this;
"Note: If you select this block you will prevent all outgoing and incoming Text, Picture, Video, Instant Messages, Premium Messages and Enhanced Messages.You will not receive usage alerts."
Now, I assume that since the phone is an Android phone, it would still be able to use Google Talk since that flows over the data plan correct? Same with Google Voice to send SMS messages as that too goes through the data plan. Can anyone verify this?
