what fish should i keep in a 10 gallon tank?

does anyone know what fish i should keep in my 10 gallon tank? i don't want a fish that is plain like Betta's and live bearers. i want to keep something like a cichlid in it. and if anyone has any idea what type of filter in there, can u give me an answer?
ive got an oscar , jack demsey, green terror in a 52 gallon. i have two convict cichlids in a 30 gallon. and my sister has a fighter fish, a gourami and a paradise fish in a 7 gallon.
 
Well then I'd keep your 10 gallon tank as a hospital/quarantine tank. Or use it to breed live bait mmm.
 
Get an Oscar! And then when they get big, you can feed them live gold fish!
