I'm not a mechanic nor do I have enough knowledge to identify my problem. I have a 85 S-10 4-speed standard truck. When I go into 2nd gear at times I let go the clutch and gas. Then try to push my gas pedal more as if I need to merge into the freeway the truck acts as if I were stalling. The second I let go the pedal just a bit, it will run normally.
Is this a problem with the engine? Or is it me not using the clutch correctly? and What can I expect if I take it to the mechanic, in terms of possible price repairs. I'm wanting to just take it in myself but would like a little help before I do.
