what happenes if i delete Internet Explorer 8?

It would be gone and you would need another internet browser to go online.. Google - Chrome, Mozilla - FireFox, Safari or Opera

when you UNINSTALL IE8 it will reinstall IE7. or at least it should anyways.

if you delete IE8's files then you'll be stuck with an usable IE, which is fine if you intend to use some other browser. just make sure you have auto updates on so that way your computer will still stay updated.

You wouldn't have an internet browser, and you would be unable to get online and download it again because you don't have an internet browser.

I recommend you DON'T delete it.
